Damon Murray earns promotion
Damon Murray has been promoted to Tech Center Manager, a position that enables Murray to blend his mathematical, administrative and team-building skills in efforts that support AGC’s ability to increase clients’ return-on-investment, savings and revenue though proactive technology solutions.
“We realize all functions contribute to the customer experience, our ultimate end-user,” said Murray, who holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Bellarmine University. “It’s a value chain in which every link matters. I’m pleased to represent a company that embraces this approach in addition to teamwork and career development.”
Murray manages the Quoting department and serves as Ordering Manager for the Security, Audio-Video and Data Services departments in addition to other work flows regarding AGC’s Security (such as integrated video-surveillance and access-control solutions) and Fiber/Copper Data Cabling services. He was an Administrative Assistant prior to his promotion, which is effective immediately.
“Damon manages a team that fast-tracks the processing of quotes, orders and other functions while identifying and creating new efficiencies through innovative practices,” said AGC Co-founder and CEO Chris Keller. “Since 1995, AGC has been satisfying a range of enterprises by creating integrated technologies previously unavailable in the marketplace. As demonstrated by Damon and his team, our internal processes reflect the same leadership, innovation and drive. This supports a business model based on listening, creating customized solutions and delivering outstanding customer service – our formula for building lasting relationships.”
Prior to joining AGC, Murray fulfilled a work-study position within the Bellarmine University Business Office, which included the processing of accounts receivables in the database, and is a former employee of the Kroger Co.
