Intern gains insight into proactive solutions
Stephanie P. Keller, a student of Centre College pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and international studies, has joined Advanced Global Communications to fulfill a summer internship.
Keller assists with planning and executing communications strategies that demonstrate AGC’s ability to solve tomorrow’s challenges with creative solutions, thereby increasing sales, cost savings and return on investment for clients representing a range of economic sectors.
In her role, Keller gains insight into the research, development and launch of technology solutions previously unavailable in the marketplace. Project work enables her to communicate this innovation among B2B audiences using digital and social-media channels in addition to media relations strategies involving local, state and national news organizations.
She is also working on building AGC’s involvement in community activities and organizations that support the firm’s corporate responsibility objectives.
“AGC offers the opportunity to understand how innovative technology solutions are deployed to benefit clients’ objectives and how to skillfully promote these advantages in a B2B landscape,” Keller said. “It’s a role that fosters critical thinking, new ideas and the understanding of customer needs.”
A graduate of Sacred Heart Academy in Louisville, Keller is a Brown Fellows recipient, National Honor Society Member and a Sacred Heart debate team semi-finalist on the state level. For the 2016-17 academic year, she served as a representative for the Centre College Student Government Association.
She is a tutor for an after-school program serving children of immigrant and migrant families and is fulfilling a second internship with ChooseWell Communities, 323 W. Broadway, which serves families affected by addiction. Keller assists with office administration, child care and is a project manager for its Thrive Walk, a benefit scheduled for Nov. 4 at Shawnee Park.
